Ann K Begley, 93, of Traverse City, passed away Sat, Jan 18, 2020 at Munson Medical Center.
Ann was born on Jul 5, 1926 in Muskegon Heights to the late John and Anna Gary. She graduated from Muskegon Heights High School in 1943. She married Phillip Bruce Begley, and they were married over 61 years prior to his death in 2010.
Ann was a devoted house wife and homemaker while her six children were growing up. After the children were grown she enjoyed her well-deserved retirement time in Tucson, AZ. She took hula lessons, hiked, and enjoyed golfing and spending time with her friends. Recently she kept busy with puzzles and spending time with her family.
Ann was well loved by all who knew her and will be remembered as loving and accepting of others' ideas and thoughts. She was a wonderful woman who will be deeply missed.
Surviving Ann are her children, Martin The V. Rev Fr Tom (Beth) , Ben (Kathleen), Andrew, Adam (Melissa) and Lauren; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Mass will take place at 11 am with a visitation held one hour prior. on Fri, Jan 24, 2020 at Christ the king Catholic Church. Burial will take place at the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
The family is being cared for by Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
