Anita A. Livell of Sullivan, wife of the late Jack C. Livell and daughter of the late Frank and Stella (Antram) Krolick passed away Sat, May 5, 2012 at the Meramec Nursing Center in Sullivan at the age of 93 years, 7 months, and 13 days.
Anita was born on Sep 24, 1918 in Kirkwood, MO, where she grew up. After Anita and Jack were married Nov 6, 1939, the family moved to Sullivan where she worked at a local shoe factory and raised three children. Jack preceded her in death on Apr 7, 1988. Anita was an active member of St. Anthony Catholic Church for more than fifty years.
She is survived by two sons: Jack and wife Virginia Livell of Sullivan, Chester and LaDonna Livell of Washington, MO, also a very special friend Edith Cobb. Mrs. Livell has seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Krolick and Frank Krolick III, a daughter, Joan Rae Damm and a great grandchild Aaron Buchanan.
A visitation was held from 8:30 am till 10:30 am on Fri, May 11, 2012 at the Eaton Funeral Chapel in Sullivan. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Anthony Catholic Church at 11 am, Friday.
Burial followed at the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Sullivan.
The family requests that in lieu of flower donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society or St. Anthony Catholic Church.
