Mrs. Arthur (Angeline) Hodge, 80 of 230 East 10th St., died Wed evening at Grand Traverse Medical Care Facility after a long illness.
Mrs. Hodge was born Jan 25, 1885 at Montreal, Canada, and at the age of six weeks came with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Day to Traverse City, where she had since resided. She was active in church affairs, belonging to the Catholic Daughters and Alter Society.
Surviving are: the husband: a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Dorothy) Hurlbut at home; a grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Asa Ostrander of Rusch Rd, and Mrs. Ray Blackburn of Traverse City; a brother, Joe Day of Traverse City and other relatives.
Her parents, three sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 9am Sat at Traverse City Immaculate Conception Church, Msgr. R.W. Passeno celebrant with burial in the family lot in Oakwood Catholic Cemetery.
The rosary will be recited at 7pm Fri at Hibbard Funeral Chapel in Traverse City where the body reposes.
