Amelia W. Brewster, wife of Peter Brewster, died at her home on Oakland Avenue, in the city of Pontiac, on Saturday of paralysis of the heart, at the age of 80 years. She left a husband and five children to mourn her loss, Mrs. S.A. Hillman, of Pontiac, and Mrs. T.A. Rolison of Armada, William A. Clark, A. Brewster, of Pontiac, and M.S. Brewster of Comstock. She was one of the oldest pioneers of Oakland County, having moved and settled on a farm in the town of Oakland over sixty years ago. She lived a Christian life, having been a member of the Methodist church for over forty years, and was highly respected by a large circle of friends.
