Mrs. Amelia F. Young, 73, of Mancelona, died Wed, Dec 8, 1993 at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Young resided in Royal Oak until 1982, when she moved to Mancelona. She was a member of the Coldsprings-Excelsior Taxpayers Association, and enjoyed gardening, flowers, and crafts.
Born on Feb 11, 1920, in Richmond, IN, she was the daughter of August and Anna Kulnowski Rawski. On Dec 27, 1941, in Detroit, she was married to David Young who survives.
Also surviving are one son, David Young of Royal Oak; three daughters, Dolores Zanger of Mancelona, Jeanette Agee of Brighton, and Patricia Jones of Hazel Park; two brothers, Joseph Rawksi of Brighton and Carl Rawski of Howell; one step brother, Walter Telega of Warren; two step sisters, Estell Kromer of Sterling Heights and Jennie Fabbri of Hamtramck; 10 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
One daughter, Christine, three brothers, Adam, Andrew, and John Rawski; one sister, Caroline Machiejewski; and one step brother, Anthony Telega, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Sat, Dec 11, 1993, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Father Patrick J. Barrett officiated. Cremation followed services. Memorial contributions may be given to be used according to the wishes of the family.
