Amanda LaShelle Hine, 5, of Kalkaska, died Fri, Jan 6, 1995 at Munson Medical Center following a brief illness.
She attended kindergarten at Kalkaska Cherry Street Elementary School, and participated in Awana at the Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed horseback riding lessons and gymnastics.
She was born on Jun 30, 1989, in Traverse City, to Steven and Jody (Schoenemann) Hine, who survive.
Also surviving are one brother, Christopher, at home, paternal grandparents, Karen Weller of Shepherd and Mike and Jolene Hine Sr of Williamsburg; maternal grandparents, Marilee and Delbert Buchner of Indiana and David Schoenemann of Mancelona; paternal great grandmothers, Alnora Hine and Lenora Bartlett; maternal great grandmothers, Frances Schoenemann and Neva Watrus; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services were held Mon, Jan 9, 1995 at the Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Dr. Marc Graham officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
