Amanda Jane VanHorn, 73, of Kalkaska passed away Jan 5, 2004, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center-Long Term Care Unit.
She was born on May 17, 1930, in Burlington, the daughter of Charles and Loretta (Weller) VanHorn.
Amanda married Ward VanHollis and he preceded her in death. She had a "green thumb" and always had a vegetable and flower garden. Amanda enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the "great outdoors."
Surviving Amanda is her sister, Clara M Huppert of Mishawaka, IN; brothers, Charles VanHorn of Jackson and George VanHorn of Mishawaka; and her special friend, Patricia Sullivan of Alden.
Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska.
Memorials may be given in behalf of Amanda VanHorn to the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center-Long Term Care.
