Alzada K Stuck, 85, a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, died early Mon, Mar 1, 2004, at the home of her daughter in Kalkaska.
Mrs. Stuck was born in Kalkaska County on Aug 19, 1918, the daughter of Angus and Mamie Hollenbeck Griffith. On Feb 21, 1943, in Grayling, she was united in marriage with Ellis Stuck. He preceded her in death on Jan 11, 1977.
For 43 years, Mrs. Stuck served as Oliver Township treasurer. She was a member of the Kalkaska County Fair Board and a member of the Town and County Helping Hands Club.
Surviving are sons, Richard (Marilyn) Beaver of Fife Lake and Paul Beaver of Kalkaska; daughters, Donna DeVerney of Mancelona and Pauline (George) Morey, Arlene (Harry R Jr) Hall and Connie (Michael) Winter, all of Kalkaska; 20 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Bertha Johnston; brother, Roy Peterson; grandson, Hershel Beaver; and a granddaughter, Marquita Wilson.
Funeral services were held Thu, Mar 4, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Shane Brown and John Byers officiated. Burial was in Oliver Township Cemetery.
