Alyce Fae Revell Franklin, 74, of Elkton, MD, passed away Sat, Jan 23, 2016. Born in Loartown, MD on Nov 11, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Robert B. McKinley II and Alice Wampler McKinley.
Mrs. Franklin was the office manager of State Farm Insurance in Elkton for over 25 years. She loved being with her family. She was a very active member of First Assembly of God, now Five Rivers Church, where for 30 years she managed the nursery and toddlers during Sunday School and Church. She had also been a very active both locally and nationally in the Royal Rangers. She later created the pre-teen youth group at the church. Mrs. Franklin dedicated her life to ministry to children.
Survivors include her husband, Merrill Franklin; sons, Daryl Revell and his two children, Tia Revell (Eric Eschbach), and Caleb Revell, Doug Revell and his wife, Robin and their two children, Alex Revell (Kaela) and Jillian Revell, and Kevin Revell; stepsons David Franklin and Merrill Franklin Jr; and siblings, Dottie Snyder, Bob McKinley, Betty Butts, Helen Obitts and Bill McKinley.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by her first husband, Ben Revell; grandson, Carlton Revell; and brothers, David and Jack McKinley.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Sat, Jan 30, 2016, at Five Rivers Church, 290 Whitehall Rd, Elkton, MD 21921, where visitation will begin at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Five Rivers Church.
