Mrs. Almeda L. Myers, 90, of Cedar Springs, died Sat, Nov 13, 1993, at Cedar Care Center.
Mrs. Myers moved to South Boardman in 1921, where she resided until 1960. she moved to Grand Rapids, and returned to South Boardman in 1973 where she lived until 1979 when she moved to Cedar Springs. Mrs. Myers was a member of the South Boardman American Legion. Auxiliary and the Church of God. She enjoyed crocheting and reading. Born in Newaygo County on Jan 29, 1903, she was the daughter of William and Sarah Jane (Miller) Luce. She was married to Charles E. Myers on Dec 21, 1921, in Kalkaska. He died on May 9, 1946.
Surviving are two sons, Doran Myers of Cedar Springs and Walter Myers of Sparta; three daughter, Gladys Gardener of Cedar Springs, Delores Goddard of Hastings, and Arletta Taylor of Sparks, NV; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Arthur, a daughter, Idella, and three brothers.
Graveside services were held Wed, Nov 17, 1993, at Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska. Rev. Paul Karges, pastor of The Peoples Church, officiated. Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
