Alma Campbell, 88, a lifelong resident of Sandusky, died Friday in his residence after a short illness.
He was born Oct. 22, 1884 in Custer Township. He was a retired Custer Township farmer. His wife, Flossie, died in 1965. He then married Mrs. Nettie Isles, she died in 1972.
He is survived by two sons, Lowell Campbell, Detroit, and Gordon Campbell, Sandusky; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Mitchell, Detroit, Mrs. Leona Staples, Port Sanilac, Mrs. Letha Lester, Marlette; two step-daughters, Mrs. Vonda Lobstein, and Mrs. Isabella Park, both of Brown City; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Braidwood, Yale, and Mrs. Florence Booth, Lexington; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Sandusky R.L.D.S. Church with Elder Raymond Kitt, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Downing Cemetery, Deckerville.
The remains will be in the Hacker Funeral Parlors, until 11 a.m. Monday when they will be moved to the church for services.
