Alice M Goossens, 90, died Aug 31, 2005. at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center. Alice was born in St Bonaface, Canada, on Mar 15, 1915, to Elisa and August Huyghe.
She married Alfons Goossens on Jun 29, 1932, in Detroit. Together, they owned Kelly Road Fine Pastries in Detroit.
She was preceded ind eath by her beloved husband, Alfons, on Jan 20, 1977, and her son, Alfons Jr on Apr 1, 1992.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary (Thomas) Mulvany of Rapid City; daughter in law, Carol Goossens of Louisville, KY, one brother, George Huyghe of Vassar; grandchild, Linda Goosens (Bill Bohucki) of Silverthorne, CO, Debbie (J. Michael) Hardesty of Louisville, KY, Jeffrey (Kelly) Goossens of Aurora, CO, Jennifer Goossens of Louisville, KY, Renee (Michael) Gaus of Paiola, KS, Eric (Mary) Mulvaney of Lansing, Lisa (Ken) Galbraith and Janette Mulvany both of Holt; as well as 13 great grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be at St. Mary of the Woods in Kalkaska on Sat, Sep 17, at 11 am.
Arrangements were handled by the Wolfe Funeral Home.
