After Alva's death Alice devoted her life to her family that kept growing and to the church she loved, St Aloysius Catholic Church in Fife Lake. She was a long time member of the choir and also the Altar Society where she held the many offices. Alice was also a representative of the Madonna Plan to the Diocese of Gaylord.
