Alfred J. Muir, age 63 of Port Huron and family of Brown City, died Sun, Aug 2, 1998.
He was born Jun 2, 1935 in Brown City to James and Eva Muir. He graduated from Brown City High School, Class of 1953. He married Eleanor Bentley.
A farmer, he also worked at Travco Corp in Brown City and other local factories. He owned and operated Ruthad, a square dance apparel manufacture and retail in Detroit. He enjoyed square dancing and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brown City.
Mr. Muir is survived by his two children, Dana Muir of Ann Arbor, and Darryl (Dianne) Muir of Marshall; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Ashleigh; and a sister, Arvella Martz.
