Alfred E. Kimball, 80, of Roscommon, died Thu, Aug 13, 1992, at Hilltop Manor Healthcare Center after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Kimball was born in Kalkaska Jul 23, 1912, son of Ezra and Etta (Sutton) Kimball. On Mar 14, 1935, he married Verna Crouch in Lapeer, who survives.
He was a retired Timer Cutter and had been involved in CCC. Having moved from Kalkaska he had been a resident of Roscommon for 43 years.
Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Tony (Sandra) West and Mrs. Art (Beverly) Diemert both of Roscommon; two sisters: Ila Calkins and Alice Nave of Kalkaska and one brother John Kimball of Kalkaska; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sons, Alvin and brothers Lester and Stanley.
Funeral Services were held Mon, Aug 17, 1992, at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Roscommon. Burial was at Pioneer Cemetery.
