Albert W. Coffeen, 80, of Grayling died Fri, Apr 3, 1992 at his residence.
Mr. Coffeen moved to the Grayling area in 1968 following his retirement from Lamina Die & Tool in Oak Park. He was employed by Bear Archery and retired from there in 1969. He was a breeder of German Short Hair Pointers and was a member of the American Kennel Club for 10 years.
He was born on Aug 14, 1911, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Raymond and Emily Schulz Coffeen. On Jul 6, 1933, in Detroit, he married Hazel M. deBeauclair, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Michael L. Coffeen of Warren; one brother, Wesley Coffeen of San Bernadino, CA; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sun, Apr 5, 1992 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Robert Gordon officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
