A Glenn Armstrong, 67, of 3188 Three Mile Rd, Traverse City, died Friday morning at Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital after an extended illness.
Mr. Armstrong was born Feb 10, 1899 in Traverse City. At the age of 11 years he moved to Detroit and later was employed by Chrysler Corp for 25 years, retiring in 1960 because of ill health.
In 1927, he was married to Edna Tallman of Detroit, who survives. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday at Peters Funeral Home in Detroit, with burial in Gethsemane Lutheran Cemetery, Detroit. Hibbard Funeral Chapel in Traverse City was in charge of local funeral arrangements.
