Albert Franklin Clark, 92, of Traverse City, passed away at Munson Medical Center on Jul 26, 2013. He was born to Frank and Edrie (Myers) Clark on Jul 6, 1921.
Albert served in the US Army from May of 1844 to Nov of 1945 as a PFC. After 35 years of dedicated work, Albert retired from Parker Motor Freight. Albert was a family man. Every year, he took the family camping at Brimley State Park. In his free time, he enjoyed bowling. He was a very kind and generous man and will be greatly missed.
Albert is survived by his children, Francis Clark, Patricia (Carl) Masino-Clark, Linda (David) Reed, William (Phyllis) Clark, and Albert (Laurie) Clark; brother, William Clark; 20 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 60 great great grandchildren; and many stepsons and stepdaughters.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ellen Hanna; second wife, Maxine Gary; daughter, Carol Laparr; daughter, Judy Clark; five siblings; and grandsons, Lee Turk, William P Clark, and Brian Clark in infancy.
Visitation will be held today Jul 29, from 5 – 8pm at Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City. A funeral service will be held on Tue Jul 30, at 1pm with visitation from 11am to 1pm at Covell Funeral Home, Traverse City.
