Albert A. Carr, 73, of Kalkaska, died Mar 18, 1998, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Carr resided in Lake City until nine years ago when he moved to Kalkaska. Prior to his retirement he worked as a bus driver for Lake City Public Schools. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the AmVets. He was affiliated with the Kalkaska Church of Christ.
Mr. Carr was born in Falmouth on Jun 16, 1924, to Herbert and Anna Grande Carr. He married Pearl Turner in Harrison on Nov 12, 1955.
Surviving are his wife Pearl; sons Harold Carr of Mancelona, Mike Carr of Kalkaska, and Delbert Carr of Fife Lake; daughters Marcella Kitchen and Barbara Cluckey, both of Fife Lake, brothers Glen Carr of Lansing and Chuck Carr of Midland; sisters Jewell Rickard of Lake City, and Mary Travis of Lansing; 21 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Son Rusty, brothers Herbert, Leo and Roy and sisters Ruby and Hazel preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Mar 20 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. E. Dan Johnson, pastor of Kalkaska Church of Christ, officiated. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
