Adrian Sophia Schroeder, 71, of Kalkaska, passed on Fri, Sep 18, at Munson Medical Center.
She was born Apr 13, 1938, in Detroit, to the late James Nelson and Clara (Przybylowicz) Rusk.
Adrian moved to Kalkaska in 1977 form Romulus.
She was a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ. Adrian enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and collecting recipes. She loved to bake pies, especially for her son's restaurant, Trout Town Country Cafe. Many knew her as Granny, due to her delicious "Grannie's Pies."
Adrian is survived by her devoted son Dan Bloomquist of Kalkaska, and her dear siblings, Rose Barrett of Elk Rapids, James (Terry) Rusk of Mancelona and Tim Rusk of Carlton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert.
Visitation for Adrian was held Sun, Sep 20, from 5 to 8 pm at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held Monday at 1 pm at the funeral home, with Dan Johnson of the Kalkaska Church of Christ officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
