Mrs. Adell Bandlow, 75, of Kalkaska, died Wed, Jun 30, 1993 at Munson Medical Center.
Mrs. Bandlow resided in the area since 1953, after moving to Mancelona from Mt. Clemens. For the past 30 years she lived at Manistee Lake, in Kalkaska County.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a waitress at the former Manistee Lake Lunge. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lydia Circle, Eve Club and CETA. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafts, and baking.
She was born on Nov 21, 1917, in Plympton Twp, Ontario, Canada, to Joseph and Estelle Morrison Shaw. On Sep 30, 1939, in Mt. Clemens, she married Edsel Bandlow, Sr. who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Edsel (Ann) Bandlow Jr of Williamsburg; three daughters, Mrs. Clint (Janice) Marsh of Traverse City, Mrs. Chad (Kathleen) Dutcher of Gaylord, and Mrs. Bob (Diane) Johnson of Kalkaska; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Deneau of Sterling Heights; 11 grandchildren, four great grand children and several nieces and nephews.
One brother, William Shaw, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Fri, Jul 2, 1993, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Kalkaska. Rev. Ted Turanski officiated Burial was in Excelsior Township Cemetery, Kalkaska Cemetery.
