Adaline R. Hogberg, 67, of Fife Lake, died Thu, Oct 10, 1991 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
She was born to George Nichols and Marie (Saulnier) Nichols Feb 3, 1924. She married Alvin Hogberg Apr 24, 1944 in Cadillac.
Mrs. Hogberg lived in the Cadillac area most of her life and graduated from Cadillac High School. She had been employed at the Pines bowling Center for 20 years. She was an avid bowler adn was state champion. Mrs. Hogberg also served as a junior bowling coach and was inducted into the Bowlers' Hall of Fame in Cadillac.
Mrs. Hogberg was affiliated with the First Covenant Church of Cadillac and worked at the gift shop at Mercy Hospital with the Hospital Auxiliary. She also enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by: her husband, Alvin Hogberg of Fife Lake; three daughters, Linda (Mrs. Donald) Veeder of Battle Creek, Julie (Mrs. Jim) Gross of Cadillac, and Jan Hogberg of Cadillac; one sons, Greg (and Pat) Hogbert of Huntsvine, AL; one sister, Caroline (Mrs. Ed) Ebert of HI; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Carroll Nichols in 1989.
Funeral services were held Sat, Oct 12, 1991 at the Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac. Rev. Dean Nelson officiated. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery, Cadillac.
